Next up is the POA Futurity Show on Aug. 28 and an Open Show on Aug. 29 at Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont.
PLEASE SEND IN YOUR ENTRIES AHEAD OF TIME SO THAT WE HAVE SOME HOPE OF STARTING THE SHOW ON TIME.
The entry form for our POA/Open shows is available below, as a PDF and as an Excel file. The contact info for our show secretary is on the entry form.
Please keep in mind that if you enter a W/T class, you may not enter the corresponding W/J/L class. So, for example, if you enter W-T Western Pleasure (all ages) you may not also enter your age group Western Pleasure class (which is W/J/L).
You save $5 on the office fee if entries are received by 5:00 p.m. Thursday before the show.
If you want to send in entries before the show, you have a few options:
Print off the PDF, fill it in, scan it, and email it to our show secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Or download the Excel file, fill it in, and email it to the show secretary.
Or print the entry form, fill it out, and send it by snail mail.
Pay for your entries when you arrive at the show or use the PayPal button below.
High Point Awards
The Colorado club offers a high point rider award in each age group at our shows.**
If showing multiple horses in a class, must specify when you enter which horse to use for points. Must ride in 50% of age group classes to qualify for daily high point. Tiebreaker is best time in cloverleaf barrels.
**Open W-T and non-pro classes, open in-hand trail, halter, and most colorful don’t count for daily high point.
For show rules, go to the national website at poac.org and check out the 2018 POAC Official Handbook and Supplements.
